My Observations//Experiences of Infants Head and Neck Control

What observations have you had of infants ages 0-12 months demonstrating head and neck control?- Write a narrative explaining the different situations.

-Yesterday i observed a 1 year old girl that was using her fine motor skills to pick up the Fruit Puffs that she was eating for her snack. Instead of taking a handfull when she put her arm in the container, she jus used her thumb and index finger and took them out one by one.
- When my baby brothers were born my mom and dad handed them to me carefully by supporting their necks and putting them in the crevace of my elbow. They told me to always watch how i held their neck and head and freaked out whenever they saw someone holding them wrong.
- This baby boy Tommy at my moms daycare sleeps better in his carseat then he does in a crib. When i went to get him up from his nap he had turned his whole body around in the seat (with the safety strap on) and his back was facing us. We watched him do it in a matter of seconds. Tommy used his head to turn his body around in the seat.
